The structural characteristics of Shangjiao section and its direction of deep prospecting in southwest of Longyuanba uranium mineralization concentration area, southern Jiangxi province

Description

Shangjiao section is located in south-central of Longyuanba mineralization concentration area and Taoshan-Zhuguang uranium metallogenic belt, Jiangxi province. Nearly EW Huangsha and Shangzhukeng fault and NE Liangshanzhai fault control the distribution of Liangshanzhai, Shangjiao and Egongtang deposits and many occurrence, which shows the area lies in the favorable geological tectonic environment of uranium mineralization. In recent years, uranium resource evaluation and reconnaissance have been carried out. Qingshan occurrence which is controlled by near SN fault has been found. The metallogenic regularity which is NE ore controlled fault and nearly SN-NE secondary ore-hosting fracture has been enriched. On the basis of previous mineral exploration, the paper expounds the characteristics of uranium mineralization, metallogenic regularities, ore controlling factors, and discusses ore controlling effect of NE fault and ore-hosting effect of nearly SN secondary fracture. It has been likely formed in Qingshanjing-Qingshancun section. The next check step of drilling is between 100 meter to 350 meter. (authors)
