Light neutral Z0-boson in the PETRA and PEP energy range within the unifying symmetry [SU(4)]4

Description

The symmetry [SU(4)]4 permits a descent into the weak-electromagnetic symmetry Gsub(LR) = SU(2)sub(L) X SU(2)sub(R) X U(1)sub(L) X U(1)sub(R). The lightest neutral weak boson in the Gsub(LR) theory may be as light as approximately 15 to 60 GeV. Forward-backward asymmetry measurements for e-e+ → μ-μ+ at SPEAR and DORIS energies, rather than neutrino and atomic-parity experiments, can provide constraints on the mass of this light gauge particle.
