Effect of secondary electrons on the point defect generation rate under electron irradiation

Description
Theoretical model for calculating primary radiation point defect generation rate which makes it possible to take account of supplementary contribution of generating fast secondary electrons to the process of material vulnerability to damage is proposed. The peculiarity of this model is characterized by the fact that electron energy spectrum formed by electron delay with initial energy in the irradiated material is calculated at the first stage. Radiation defect generation rate is determined at the second stage
