On charged vortices in the (2+1)-dimensional Abelian Higgs model
Description
The asymptotic behaviour of scalar and vector fields in the classical three-dimensional Abelian Higgs model with a Chern-Simons term added to the Lagrangian is considered. The model exhibits vortices with electric charge Q. Corrections of the second order in Q to the fields describing a neutral vortex are calculated. Some arguments against to hypothesis of the doubling of possible vortex states are represented
