Description

The liquid scintillation counting method is one of the commonly used nuclear rad iation measurement, It has many advantages such as simple sample preparation, high sensitivity and good stability in the measurement. This method has caught people's attention in a wide range of radon survey. According to the characteristics of radon soluble in liquid scintillation, Using three kinds of liquid scintillation which were commonly used to experiment, Studies have shown that sampling flow rate, time and temperature have influence on radon solubility in the liquid scintillation. Experiment got the balance time of radon distribution between the air and liquid scintillation, established the liquid scintillation counting method for accurate measurement of radon concentration.
