Analysis of finite difference approximation in a discrete ordinates transport equation in one-dimensional plane geometry

Spatial discretization errors in some of the recently proposed interpolation schemes are obtained directly by explicit solution of the exact and approximate equations in S2 approximation. The analysis considers the effect of scattering and corresponds to the infinite iteration limit
