Character of metal destruction during their high-sped deformation determination by electric field ponderomotive forces

Description

Modes fror analyzing mechanical properties and structure of desctruction surfaces of metallic point samples in autoion microscope are described. Possibility of generating shock-waves in samples by their high-speed deformation is noted and threshold of their formation by amplitude of pulse effect and pulse duration is indicated. The amorphization effect of destruction surface and existence of corresponding theshold of deformation speed are identified. Influence of sample pre-irradiation by low-energy gas ions on mechanical properties and structure of destruction surface is studied
