Solar cosmic rays and galactic cosmic ray variations at growth phase of 22 solar cycle
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow (USSR). Inst. Prikladnoj Geofiziki
Description
Space-time and spectral characteristics of solar proton events registered aboard the Meteor satellite with the intensity in the maximum J ≥ 5 cm-2s-1xsr-1 at the proton energy E>5 MeV are analyzed. The data on proton distribution in high-latitudinal magnetosphere regions in the new cycle events prove the presence of different mechanisms of solar proton penetration and a considerable effect of perturbation of the Earth's magnetic field to the depth of charged particle penetration in the magnetosphere
