Superconducting microtron: losses, refrigeration energy, and beam current

  • 1. Moncton Univ., New Brunswick (Canada). Dept. of Physics

Description

The superconducting cavities allow us to consider the c.w. operation of a microtron-type accelerator. The authors show here some of the theoretical results they have obtained. This results deal with the losses, the refrigeration energy, and the orbit current.
