Influence of the cycle asymmetry and durable aging on resistance of 15Kh1M1F steel welded joint to low cycle fracture
Creators
Description
The durability of welded joints of the steel-15KH1M1F has been studied when tested in various characteristics. It is shown that the low-cycle breaking strength of the steel-15KH1M1F and its welded joints at R6=-1 under conditions of normal and elevated temperature is approximately twice as low as that at R6=0. Under reversal cycles of loading the durability of the metal welded joint and heat affected zone is higher than that of the base metal. Continuous aging decreases the low-cycle breaking strength of the base metal and the welded joint zone metal, the decrease being higher of the base metal (by 20 - 30%)
