Dielectric properties of (Pb1-xA2x)(Sc1/2Nb1/2)O3 solid solutions

Description
The Ba(Sc1/2Nb1/2)O3 (BSN), Sr(Sc1/2Nb1/2)O3 (SSN), Ca(Sc1/2Nb1/2)O3 (CSK and Cd(Sc1/2Nb1/2)O3 (CdSN) solid solutions in ferroelectric lead scandiobate Pb(Sc1/2Nb1/2)O3 (PSN) by concentration of nonferroelectric components from O up to 12 mol.% are studied. The dielectric properties depend on the conditions whereby the sintering occurs. It is obviously difficult to bring this system to equilibrium state therefore very strong erosion of the ferroelectric phase transfer is often observed. 5 refs., 5 figs., 1 tab
