Description
An overview of the performance of WWER and RBMK type nuclear reactors in Eastern and Central European countries is given. Special attention is paid to Russia and the Ukraine. It is concluded that the reliability and safety of the reactors is better than as generally supposed by the Western European public. (J.B.). 3 tabs
