Bis(1,10-phenanthroline)lithium perchlorate: crystal structure and dissociation of complex in acetone

Description
Composition of solid phase formed in acetone at concentration ratios of 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and LiClO4 near 2:1 is established. Molecular structure of bis(1,10-phenanthroline)lithium perchlorate is determined by X-ray structural analysis: space group Pnna, a=7.191(2), b=39.929(9), c=14.494(3) A, Z=8, Dx=1.490 g/cm3. Data of IR spectroscopy in acetone denotes dissociation of the Li(phen)2ClO4 complex for the 1:1 composition complex and molecule phen in the solution equilibrium with the solid phase

Установлен состав твердой фазы, образующейся в ацетоне при отношениях концентраций 1,10-фенантролина (phen) и LiClO4, близких к 2:1. По данным рентгеноструктурного анализа определена молекулярная структура перхлората бис(1,10-фенантролин)лития: пространственная группа Pnna, a=7.191(2), b=39.929(9), c=14.494(3) A, Z=8, Dx=1.490 г/см3. Данные ИК спектроскопии в ацетоне указывают на диссоциацию комплекса Li(phen)2ClO4 на комплекс состава 1:1 и молекулу phen в растворе, равновесном с твердой фазойAdditional details
