Description

The dependence of distribution coefficients during the extraction of heavy metals (Co, Cd, Zn, Fe) by different complexing agents on the nature of the organic solvent is studied. It is established that distribution constants of ions of the given metals between the organic phase, containing solution of the extractant and aqueous phase are connected with the properties of the organic solvent by means of linear five-parameter equation taking into account the phenomena of specific and nonspecific solvation
