Description

The data on radioanatomy of the lymphatic system of the lower limbs and inguinal zones in 40 patients after external malleolar lymphography are presented. Examined were location and structure of such elements as the posterior crural and deep femoral lymphatic collectors, as well as the lymphatic vessels and nodes of the fossa poplitea, inguinal and iliac areas. It has been established that the posterior superficial crural collector and the deep femoral collector are most often detected by external malleolar lymphographic method, in 70 and 72% of cases respectively. The contrast of the deep inguinal nodes has been shown to become manifest in 54.5% of cases. In the remainder observations, a radiographic contrast agent moves directly into the lacunar and iliac nodes, missing the inguinal plexus. Filling of the external, common iliac and lumbar nodes, usually contrasted by means of dorsal lymphography, has appeared in malleolar lymphography
