Comparative studies of computed tomography and measurements of regional cerebral blood flow in stroke patients
Description
Comparative studies of computed tomography and of regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) by means of the intracarotid xenon-133-clearance method were performed in 25 stroke patients. The relationships between an infarction in CT and disturbances of rCBF, between a normal CT in stroke cases and focal changes of CBF, and between the luxury perfusion syndrome in the rCBF study and contrast enhancement of an infarct in CT are demonstrated and discussed. An 25 Schlaganfallpatienten wurden vergleichende Untersuchungen mit CT und rCBF mit Hilfe der intracarotiden Xe133-Clearance durchgefuehrt. Die Beziehungen zwischen einem Infarkt in der Computertomographie und rCBF-Stoerungen, zwischen normalem Computertomogramm bei Schlaganfaellen und herdartigen Veraenderungen des CBF sowie zwischen dem Durchblutungssyndrom bei der rCBF-Untersuchung und der Kontrastverstaerkung eines Infarkts im Tomogramm werden aufgezeigt und diskutiert.
