Optimal spectrometric chain for low pulse rates

Creators

  • 1. Ustav Jaderneho Vyzkumu, Rez (Czechoslovakia)

Description

Optimization of the signal to noise ratio of a semiconductor spectrometer for processing low pulse rates is discussed. The relations are presented for the derivation of an optimum filter. A description is given of the design and operation of some actual filters. Pre-requisites are discussed for seeking the optimum resolution of the system. (B.S.)
