Description
Full Text: The initial stage of tungsten wire selfheating by subsecond power current pulse is simulated. We assuming the possibility of metastable states of wire matter, calculated results are in a good agreement with experimental data on subsecond explosion. Semiempirical equation of state for tungsten is used, it takes into account an effects of melting and evaporating at high temperature. The conservation laws taking into account an influence of magnetic forces and a motion of matter at liquid-vapor boundary are written. Radial distributions of thermodynamic parameter for involved wire were obtained. Typical numerical phase tracks for wire matter are presented. (author)
