Design of primary stripper foil changer for CSNS/RCS

Description
The Primary Stripper Foil Changer of Rapid Cycling Proton Synchrotron (RCS) in China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS). In order to decreasing the development difficulties, costing and improving the reliability, the structure scheme of rotation structure has been adopted. Considering the technical difficulties of on-line adjustable, movement stability, positioning accuracy, ultra-high vacuum and so on, the detailed mechanical design and control system scheme of CSNS/RCS Primary Stripper Foil Changer have been carried out. And the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software ANSYS and Material Mechanics Theory have been utilized to simulate and analyze the device's core component (Stainless Steel Synchronous Belt). (authors)
