Description

Crystal structure of the crystals Cd2Cl4(Aet)2(H1)2, where AET=C9H16N4O2-ethymisol, has been decoded. The crystals are monoclinic: a=18.19 (1), b=16.59 (2), c=8.153 (6) A, γ=554.52 (2) deg, sp.gr. B2/b, Z=4. The crystal is built of dimeric central symmetric complexes [Cd2Cl4(AET)2(H2O)2]. Cl (2) atom performs the bridge function. Coordination polyhedron of Cd2+ ion is a distorted octahedron formed at the expense of three Cl atoms (two bridge and one terminal atoms), O (1) atom of H2O molecule, N (1) and O (3) atoms of ligand, AET. The distances are: Cd-Cl (1) 2.474 (2), Cd-Cl (2), 2.546 (2), Cd-O (1), 2.414 (6), Cd-N (1)AET 2.253 (6) and Cd-O(3)AET 2.513 (5) A
