Description
The relation between Kr-81m RVEF and Tc-99m RVEF is complicated by the variable overlap of the right atrium and the right venricle in Tc-99m scintigram acquired in the LAO position. With application of a dual ROI method to correct for systolic AV border displacement, the variation right atrial overlap significantly influences Tc-99m RVEF. This must be taken into account when assessing global right ventricular function by Tc-99m RVEF. (orig.)
