Description
Proton-nucleus interactions have been studied in emulsion chamber with producing layer exposed to 400 GeV proton beams. The producing layer consists of aluminum, copper, tin and tungsten plates sandwiched in nuclear emulsion plates. The multiplicities, the cross sections, and the production angles of shower particles were measured. On the basis of the experimental results obtained, we examine the mechanism of multiparticle production in hadron-nucleus collisions at high energies. (author)
