On a region of secondary pion production in hadronnucleus and nucleus-nucleus interactions registered with stratospheric X-ray emulsion chambers at energy E≥25 TeV

Description

An effort is made to determine the size of secondary pion generation region in high energy hadron-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus interactions recorded in the stratosphere by X-ray emulsion chamber method. For certain events the radius of pion emulssion region exceeds the radius of a colliding nucleus which can be considered as an argument in favour of the model taking account collective nucleon interactions
