A model for ρ3(1690) meson production in pion-nucleon collisions

Description

The experimental data on the isovector ρ3(1690) meson quasi-two-particle production in πN collisions are analyzed within the framework of the One-Pion-Exchange Regge model. On the whole, an adequate quantitative description of the existing data on integrated and differential production cross sections is obtained by using this model. Predictions for the density matrix elements are given. 22 refs., 7 figs., 2 tabs
