Description

This paper discusses the importance of condition monitoring of power plants. Condition monitoring methods based on signal analysis have been developed. The first one of the developed systems has been in use since 1982. Encouraged by the good experiences gained, computer-aided monitoring has also been applied to other power plants. Both methods and hardware have been developed with keeping in mind the different needs of the different types of power plants
