Experimental and theoretical investigation of radiation fields from radionuclide mixtures. 2

Description

A detector response function allows to compare results of radiation field calculations with experimentally measured values. To obtain the function the energy loss spectra of gamma radiation within the detector material and other special detector parameters were determined. The pulse height distribution was measured and computed using a NaI(Tl) scintillation detector. The computer program is composed of subroutines written in FORTRAN IV. The results obtained are in agreement with experimental results
