Decay of Σ-n dibaryons in exotic atoms
Description
The momenta of the decay products from a hypothetical Σ-n hyperfragment, including final-state interaction between the two neutrons have been calculated. The cascade of exotic atoms that incorporate Σ-n as a satellite has also been examined. It is found that a large fraction of dibaryons that stop in insulators of low atomic number will decay before being absorbed. (Auth.)
