Use of radiotherapy in breast cancer patients with brain metastases: a retrospective 11-year single center study

Description

Highlights: • The use of SRS in breast cancer treatment is increasing. • The use of WBRT in patients with ≥5 brain metastases is decreasing. • Patients with good performance status (ECOG 0) or treated with additional surgery had superior overall survival. To analyse the use of radiotherapy (RT) and factors affecting overall survival (OS) after RT in breast cancer patients with brain metastases.
