Other present closely related programs are not described here, but their developmental work is implicity included, in particular the APP-sponsored programs on theoretical (LLL) and experimental (LBL) negative-ion physics, and on ion-source research (LBL), the D and T (LLL) Direct Recovery and Reactor Design Studies, and the various confinement systems interfaces
