Effect of radioprotective agents of the benzothiadiazole class on respiration and oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria
Creators
Description
In experiments in witro on mitochondria of mouse liver it was demonstrated that the most effective radioprotective agents of a benzothiadiazole class reduce the coupling between respiration and oxidative phosphorylation. It was established that possible products of conversions of the radioprotective agents under study can shunt the respiratory chain and transfer electrons to oxygen directly
