Description

Radiation protection calculations in accelerators require a sound knowledge of neutron yields and their energy distributions. The experimental techniques and data analysis methods used, along with the integral neutron yields in the forward and lateral directions from carbon projectiles bombarding thick aluminum and copper targets are reported. The integral yields from boron projectiles bombarding thick Al and natural Ni targets and differential yields and slope parameters for these systems are presented
