Carburization of alloy Ni 10276 by commercial butane gas
Creators

Description
The specimens of alloy N 10276 were carburized by commercial gas at the temperatures of 850,900 and 950 degree C. The carburization times were 24, 48, 72 and 96 h. The results of the carburization experiments indicated that the carburization kinetics follow a parabolic rate law relation. The carburized zone depth increased by increasing temperature and time and by minimizing the oxygen and moisture content in the carburizing system
