The objectives of the project are: to assess the exposure of the Portuguese population due to the indoor radon inhalation; to develop a regional survey in regions of technologically enhanced natural radioactivity; to determine the equilibrium factors in some regions of Portugal; and to study the outdoor radon concentrations and to evaluate its contribution to the indoor radon concentration in contaminated zones.
