Heavy oil - oilsands : managing the cycles : proceedings of the Canadian Heavy Oil Association conference

Description

A review of the heavy oil industry in Canada and the development of the oil sand deposits including the Athabasca, Peace River, and Cold Lake deposits was presented. The one-day conference was organized into four sessions, entitled: (1) upgrading technologies, (2) field operations, (3) long term outlook, and (4) market developments. This volume contains the collection of speaking notes and overhead viewgraphs used by the speakers. With few exceptions, no text was provided. There were a total of 14 presentations.
