Labelling compounds with iodine radionuclides

Description
Methods are briefly reviewed used by the Nuclear Research Institute for labelling organic compounds and radiopharmaceuticals with iodine radionuclides. The benefits and constraints of the individual methods are described and examples of their use in practice are given. Problems connected with in vivo preclinical tests of new preparations are also discussed. (author). 14 refs
