Description
The energy release from supernovas via the emission of Majoron-like particles is considered to obtain a constraint on the Yukawa couplings with neutrinos. In view of the observed neutrino flux from the supernova SN1987A, a forbidden region of the Yukawa coupling, 2 x 10-5<h<3 x 10-4, is obtained. We also consider some implications of our result to the Majoron models
