The exchange narrowing of T1 in solid helium-3

Description
The exchange narrowing of the nuclear magnetic relaxation time T1 of bcc 3He is investigated. it is found that multiple exchange models with two and three parameters may explain the T1 data observed in the region 0.2 < T < 0.8 K for Vm = 24.2 cm3/mol. We investigate further the narrowing in hcp 3He. Based on the multiple exchange model with the exchange parameters J1, J1', J2, and Ksq, we obtain a theoretical expression for T1. (author)
