Automatic translation: The accident at the fourth power unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant with the destruction of the reactor and the release of a significant amount of radioactive substances into the environment occurred 25 years ago, but its consequences today continue to remain relevant for the participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident and for hundreds of thousands of people living in radioactively contaminated areas. ... The fission products of nuclear fuel released from the destroyed reactor into the atmosphere were carried by air currents to large areas, causing their radioactive contamination not only near nuclear power plants in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus, but also hundreds and even thousands of kilometers from the accident site. Territories of 17 countries were exposed to radioactive contamination with levels above 1 Ci / km2 (37 kBq / m2).

Авария на четвертом энергоблоке Чернобыльской АЭС с разрушением реактора и выбросом значительного количества радиоактивных веществ в окружающую среду произошла 25 лет назад, но ее последствия и сегодня продолжают оставаться актуальными для участников работ по ликвидации последствий аварии и для сотен тысяч людей, проживающих на радиоактивно-загрязненных территориях. Выброшенные из разрушенного реактора в атмосферу продукты деления ядерного топлива были разнесены воздушными потоками на значительные территории, обусловив их радиоактивное загрязнение не только вблизи АЭС на территории Украины, России и Белоруссии, но и за сотни и даже тысячи километров от места аварии. Радиоактивному загрязнению с уровнями выше 1 Ки/км2 (37 кБк/м2) подверглись территории 17 стран.Files
