Investigation of interaction of calcium dihydrodiphosphate with alkali metal nitrates at elevated temperature

Description
Character of transformations within CaH2P2O7-MNO3 systems, where M=Li-Cs, at heating in the air within 293-1023 K temperature range is investigated by means of complex thermal analysis. Composition of interaction products is determined by stage-by-stage thermal treatment using chemical, X-ray phase analyses, quantitative thin-layer chromatorgraphy. Two new compounds - CaRb2P2O7 and CaCs2P2O7 - are separated and identified amond them. Possible mechanisms of reactions, occurring between calcium dihydrodiphosphate and alkali metal nitrates at heating over melting points of the latter, are suggested on the basis of the obtained data
