On the dynamics of radionuclide accumulation in the ecosystem of the cooling water basin of an atomic Power Station

Description
Using a certain methodological approach an attempt is made to calculate the concentration of radioactive elements in the bottom sediments of NPP cooling ponds. The suggested scheme of calculations includes the simplest hydrologic and ecological characteristics of the ponds, available for direct measurements. Analysis of the materials obtained for different ponds will promote solution to the task of establishing radioecological standards for radionuclide penetration into the hydrosphere
