Executive order of the Federal Minister of the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Reactor Safety, on remedial radiation protection with regard to agricultural produce contaminated as a result of the Chernobyl reactor accident
Description
The EC Council Directive no. 1707/86, on import regulations for agricultural produce from non-member countries after the Chernobyl reactor accident prohibits the import of agricultural produce exceeding a given limit of radioactive contamination. The substantive law of this EC Directive is announced to become part of the Federal German law in accordance with the section 6, sub-sec. (1), no. 2, and sub-sec. (2), first sentence, and section 7, sub-sec. (1) and (4), and section 7, sub-sec. (2), no. 2, and sub-sec. (4) of the Act on Remedial Radiation Protection. (orig./HP)
Abstract (German)
Die EG-Ratsverordnung Nr. 1707/86 ueber die Einfuhrbedingungen fuer landwirtschaftliche Erzeugnisse mit Ursprung in Drittlaendern nach dem Unfall im Kernkraftwerk Tschernobyl verbietet die Einfuhr landwirtschaftlicher Erzeugnisse bei Ueberschreitung bestimmter Kontaminationswerte. Der materielle Inhalt der EG-Ratsverordnung soll in Bundesrecht aufgrund der Verordnungsermaechtigungen nach Paragraph 6 Abs. 1 Nr. 2 und Abs. 2 Satz 1, Paragraph 7 Abs. 1 und 4 und Paragraph 7 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 und Abs. 4 des Strahlenschutzvorsorgegesetzes uebertragen werden.
