Mastering new equipment for heat treatment of the boiler tubes at Liebknekht works

The industrial introduction of new equipment for heat treatment of steam conducting boiler tubes of 12Kh1MF and 15Kh1M1F steels at the K. Liebknecht Works is described. The specialized heat treatment department, commissioned in 1973, is intended for on-line treatment of steam conducting tubes with diameters of 219 to 351 mm and wall thicknesses of 40 to 600 mm. The units of the heat treatment department form a process line with a complete mechanization and a partial automation of handling, heating and cooling of tubes
