Tests of silicon strip modules for the ATLAS upgrade
Description
The upgrade of the LHC for a high-luminosity phase after 2020 will bring an upgrade of the ATLAS tracking detectors, in order to face the expected 10-fold increase in luminosity. We report about recent progress in assembling and testing prototype modules for the upgrade of the silicon strip detectors, focusing on the upgrade of the strip detector end-caps and new powering schemes.
