Description

We describe the silicon strip vertex detector built for the Mark II detector for use at the Stanford Linear Collider. We summarize the performance of this detector during the 1990 running of the Mark II experiment, pointing out some of the lessons to be learned when designing a silicon detector for a B-factory.
