Process and device for liquid organic waste processing by sulfuric mineralization
Description
In a chemical reactor containing sulfuric acid are introduced the liquid waste and nitric acid at a controlled flow rate for carbonization of the waste and oxidation of carbon on sulfur dioxide, formed during carbonization, regenerating simultaneously sulfuric acid. Optical density of the liquid is monitored to stop liquid waste feeding above a set-point. The liquid waste can be an organic solvent such as TBP

On introduit dans le reacteur contenant de l'acide sulfurique le dechet liquide a traiter et de l'acide nitrique a des debits tels que l'on realise dans le reacteur une carbonisation par l'acide sulfurique du dechet liquide introduit, et une oxydation du carbone et du SO2 formes lors de la carbonisation en regenerant simultanement l'acide sulfurique. On mesure en continu la densite optique du milieu liquide pour interrompre l'alimentation en dechet liquide lorsque la teneur du milieu liquide depasse une valeur de consigne.
