Application and checking of α-activity by inner scintillation method of ZnS(Ag)

Description
The author describes α-activity determination by inner scintillation method of ZnS(Ag) which can be used for determination of U, Th, Ra, Po and certain artificial nuclides. The obtained results are compared with data determined by other analytical methods and other laboratories. It is demonstrated in practice that inner scintillation method has not only high detection efficiency, short analytical period and low expense, but also satisfactory precision and accuracy
