The oxidation of alcohols and aldehydes by potassium chlorate in te presence of a ruthenium heteropolycomplex

Description
At interaction of K2RuOHCl5 with Na2PW11O39 catalyst for oxidation of primary alcohols and adlehydes up to proper carboxylic acid (yield ∼ 100%) was formed in aqueous solution, pH 2; 25-75 deg C. Acroleinwas demonstrated to be oxidized in acrylic acid with high selectivity
