Angular distribution of the (π-,π0) reaction on 3He at 200 to 290 MeV

Description

A preliminary analysis is reported for the (π-, π0) reaction on 3He. Differential cross sections were so far obtained at the backward angles for incident pion energies of 200 to 290 MeV. A relatively structureless angular distribution with an order of magnitude near 10 μb/sr is observed. Charge symmetry and noncoherent processes can be studied from these results. 3 references
