Description
A number of new models and features have recently been added to RECORD reflecting user requirements for analysis of new fuel designs, control rods and detector systems. RECORD is part of the Scandpower FMS code package, and is currently being used by a number of Power Utilities in Europe, USA, Mexico and the Far East for both BWR and PWR analysis. This paper describes the implementation of an improved fission product model, a model for Hafnium based control absorbers, improved burnable poison analysis and extension of RECORD with a gamma physics model and gamma detector response prediction. Examples of comparisons of calculated parameters with experimental data are also provided
