Isotropization of Bianchi type models in string effective theories

Description
Using scaled variables we are able to integrate an equation valid for isotropic and anisotropic Bianchi type I, V, IX models in Brans-Dicke theory. We specialize our analysis for the case in which ω = - 1 that corresponds to string effective theories. In these theories we analyze the possibility that anisotropic models asymptotically isotropize, and/or possess inflationary properties. Additionally, a new solution of curve (k ≠ O) Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) cosmologies is discussed. (Author)
